The HC-05 Bluetooth module functions as a serial (RX/TX) communication link, enabling seamless data transfer between your computer and target device at baud rates ranging from 9600bps to 115200bps. The remote unit can be powered with a voltage range from 3.3V to 6V, making it easy to connect to a battery. All signal pins on the remote unit tolerate 3V to 6V, so no level shifting is necessary. Note: This device should not be directly connected to a serial port. An RS232 to TTL converter circuit is required to interface with a computer.

- Auto-connect: The device reconnects to the last connected device automatically when powered on.
- Pairing settings: The device allows pairing by default, with an auto-pairing PIN code of “0000”.
- Auto-reconnect: If disconnected due to range, the device will attempt to reconnect within 30 minutes.
